Location:

Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Fully Remote
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (B2B Contractor outside of Gibraltar)
Department: Product

About the Role

We are hiring a Product Manager, Compliance to define and deliver the compliance-critical capabilities that sit at the heart of a modern iGaming platform. Working for our client, an established platform provider serving regulated online casino and sports betting markets, you will own a defined compliance vertical and take full responsibility for its strategy, roadmap, and delivery. This is a role for a product professional who understands that in iGaming, compliance is not a constraint on the product, it is the product.

As Product Manager within the Compliance domain, your remit will span regulatory reporting, safer gambling, KYC, player account management (PAM), and integrations with regulatory bodies and third parties such as Docaposte and centralised exclusion systems. You will translate complex, and often evolving, regulatory requirements from authorities such as the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission into clear, buildable product solutions that scale across multiple jurisdictions.

Success in this Compliance Product Manager role looks like regulatory reporting that is accurate, timely, and audit-ready across every market, new requirements delivered on time with minimal rework, and strong, consistent alignment between Product, Compliance, and Engineering. It balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and it is a role where your decisions have a direct and visible impact on the licences that keep the business trading. This position is fully remote for candidates based in the EU or UK, with a preference for those in Malta or Gibraltar.

Key Responsibilities

You will own the roadmap and delivery for your compliance domain, balancing hard regulatory deadlines against wider business priorities and making practical calls when the two are in tension. You will define and shape the strategy for regulatory reporting and safer gambling features, including integrations with platforms such as Docaposte and centralised exclusion lists.

A core part of the role is translation. You will take regulatory requirements from authorities such as the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission and turn them into clear, actionable product requirements that engineering teams can build against with confidence. Closely related to this, you will own data mapping and reporting logic, ensuring that platform data is translated accurately into the regulatory reporting formats and APIs each jurisdiction expects.

You will lead and develop a team of Product Owners, setting the standard for high-quality backlogs, clear priorities, and consistent delivery. Backlog health across those teams sits with you, so you will make sure work is well defined, correctly prioritised, and genuinely ready for development before it reaches engineers. You will work side by side with Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Business stakeholders to design solutions that are compliant, scalable, and operationally efficient.

Regulatory requirements are rarely static or unambiguous, so you will bring clarity to grey areas and make timely, sensible product decisions when the rules are still taking shape. You will support incident management and the prioritisation of compliance-related issues in line with agreed service levels, and you will support audits, licensing, and regulatory reviews by providing clear product documentation and system insight.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Compliance Product Manager who combines deep iGaming product experience with a genuine understanding of the regulatory landscape. The following points reflect what matters for this role.

Essential

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years in iGaming
  • Proven experience working with regulatory reporting systems, with a strong preference for Docaposte
  • Experience across one or more compliance-related domains such as regulatory reporting, KYC, safer gambling, PAM, or exclusion systems
  • A track record of launching or scaling products in regulated markets
  • A strong ability to translate regulatory obligations into clear product and technical requirements
  • Solid understanding of data structures, data mapping, and API-based integrations
  • Excellent stakeholder management across technical, compliance, and commercial teams
  • A methodical, detail-focused approach to data accuracy and validation
  • Based in the EU or UK, with the right to work in your location

Advantageous

  • Experience working across multiple regulated jurisdictions
  • Exposure to AML, fraud detection, or risk systems
  • Experience improving or scaling regulatory reporting pipelines
  • Familiarity with AI-driven approaches in compliance, such as anomaly detection or automated monitoring
  • Based in Malta or Gibraltar

What’s on Offer

This is a fully remote Product Manager, Compliance position open to candidates across the EU and UK, with a salary of €70,000 – €80,000 per annum. Our client supports flexible, remote-first working, which makes the role well suited to experienced product professionals who value autonomy and a healthy balance alongside meaningful, high-impact work. Candidates based in Malta or Gibraltar are particularly welcome, given the concentration of iGaming operations and regulatory activity in those hubs, though this is not a requirement.

Beyond compensation, you will join a product team at a point of real growth, with clear ownership of a domain that is central to the business rather than peripheral to it. You will have the scope to shape how compliance product is built and delivered, the backing to develop a team of Product Owners around you, and the variety that comes with working across multiple regulated markets.
