Own the Platform Roadmap. Drive Delivery. Shape the Future of iGaming Infrastructure.

Are you an experienced Senior Product Owner with deep knowledge of iGaming platform domains and a track record of shipping high-quality product across multiple development teams?

We’re partnering with a leading B2B iGaming platform provider to find a Senior Product Owner who can take ownership of their core platform domains and drive meaningful product outcomes in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

This is a high-impact role for someone who combines strong technical understanding with commercial awareness, thrives in complex multi-team environments, and knows iGaming platform products inside out.

About Our Client

Our client is an established B2B iGaming platform provider operating across multiple regulated markets. Their platform covers the full spectrum of iGaming infrastructure — from PAM and back office to regulatory compliance, payments, marketing tooling, and third-party integrations. With an ambitious product roadmap and a growing engineering function, they are looking for a Senior Product Owner to take ownership of key platform domains and help deliver best-in-class solutions for their operator clients.

Your Role

As Senior Product Owner – Platform, you will drive the development, prioritisation, and delivery of the end-to-end iGaming platform across domains including PAM, Back Office, Regulatory & KYC, Marketing Tooling, Reporting, Bonus/Promotions, and third-party integrations covering gaming providers, payment providers, CRM, analytics, and compliance tooling.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success — translating complex customer and business requirements into clearly defined, delivery-ready features. You’ll also act as a mentor to junior Product Owners, stepping up for Product Management when needed and helping raise the overall product capability of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure product enhancements deliver genuine value and meet market needs.
  • Gather and analyse feedback from customers and stakeholders to continuously inform product improvements and feature development.
  • Define clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for new features, ensuring alignment with product goals and engineering readiness.
  • Lead multiple development teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of product features, proactively resolving blockers throughout the development process.
  • Develop and prioritise product backlogs and roadmap across your teams, maintaining alignment with the strategic roadmap and wider business objectives.
  • Maintain and improve backlog health — ensuring user stories are estimated, refined, and ready for development in line with the definition of ready.
  • Own end-to-end feature validation by defining and executing test scenarios across all key use cases, confirming delivery meets acceptance criteria and functions as intended.
  • Prioritise and coordinate fixes with development teams for incidents and Tier 2 issues in line with agreed service levels.
  • Communicate product updates and changes to internal stakeholders and external clients, incorporating feedback into the development process to ensure enhancements meet both customer needs and business goals.
  • Mentor junior Product Owners, leading by example and supporting product management in scoping complex development items and managing the domain.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Senior Product Owner or Product Owner for Platform within the iGaming industry.
  • Demonstrated experience across 3 or more iGaming platform domains, including PAM, Platform, Regulatory & KYC, Payments & Wallet, Marketing, Risk/Fraud, Reporting, or third-party integrations (gaming, payments, CRM).
  • Proven experience launching and optimising B2B and B2C iGaming products in highly regulated markets.
  • Track record of successfully managing multiple development teams and product deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience bridging business and technical teams effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with a clear record of delivering high-quality product solutions across platform domains.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, underpinned by a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem resolution through to conclusion.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills — comfortable presenting to both technical teams and senior commercial stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical and structured thinker with a bias toward clarity and decisive action.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent practical experience in the iGaming industry.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with AI-driven technology and how it applies to iGaming platform product development.
  • Experience working within a B2B platform or games supplier environment servicing multiple operator clients simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction regulatory requirements across markets such as Gibraltar, Malta, UK, and MGA-licensed territories.
  • Experience with agile at scale across multiple concurrent delivery teams.

What’s On Offer

  • A senior, high-autonomy platform ownership role across some of the most critical domains in iGaming infrastructure.
  • The opportunity to work on a widely used B2B iGaming platform with genuine commercial impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a Senior Product Owner do in iGaming?

A Senior Product Owner in iGaming is responsible for defining, prioritising, and driving delivery of product features across one or more platform domains. They work across PAM, back office, KYC, payments, marketing tooling, reporting, and third-party integrations — translating business and customer requirements into development-ready user stories while managing multiple engineering teams and stakeholders simultaneously.

What iGaming platform domains should a Senior Product Owner know?

The most commonly required domains include Player Account Management (PAM), Regulatory & KYC, Payments & Wallet, Back Office systems, Bonus and Promotions engines, Marketing and CRM tooling, Risk and Fraud management, Reporting, and third-party integration frameworks covering gaming providers, payment gateways, and compliance tooling.

Is this Senior Product Owner role remote?

Yes — our client offers the flexibility to work remotely to EU residents, with the option to be based in Gibraltar where the company is headquartered.

How is a Senior Product Owner different from a Product Manager in iGaming?

A Product Owner typically operates closer to the development teams — owning the backlog, defining user stories, validating delivery, and managing sprint-level prioritisation. A Product Manager operates at a higher strategic level, owning roadmap vision and commercial direction. Senior Product Owners often bridge both, supporting Product Management and mentoring junior POs.

What tools and methodologies does a Senior Product Owner use in iGaming?

Common tools include Jira or Linear for backlog management, Confluence for documentation, and analytics platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or internal BI tooling for data-driven decision making. Agile and Scrum methodologies are standard, often at scale across multiple teams.
