Project Manager – Malta iGaming Job
Project Manager | Malta | Hybrid (4 days in office)
Location: Malta
Salary: €45,000 to €50,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 4 days in office, 1 day remote
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports To: Head of Project Delivery
About the Role
Our client, a growing technology business with a strong footprint across the iGaming and regulated digital services sector, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Malta. This is a key hire for the business and will see the successful Project Manager take ownership of a portfolio of cross-functional projects that support product launches, platform improvements, and operational initiatives across the group.
The Project Manager will play a central role in converting strategy into delivery, bringing structure, rhythm, and accountability to every project they touch. Working in close partnership with engineering, product, operations, commercial, and compliance teams, they will ensure every initiative lands on time, within scope, and within budget.
This Project Manager role is based in Malta on a hybrid pattern, with four days per week in the office and one day remote. It suits a candidate who values face-to-face collaboration, wants to work in a fast-moving iGaming-adjacent environment, and is ready to contribute directly to the pace and quality of delivery across the business.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager will plan, execute, and manage projects from initiation through to completion. This covers defining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, and translating those into detailed project plans that teams can actually work from. The Project Manager will track progress against milestones, flag slippage early, and keep every stream moving towards the agreed outcome.
Coordination sits at the heart of the role. The Project Manager will work with internal teams across product, engineering, QA, and operations, as well as external stakeholders including vendors, partners, and platform providers. Building and maintaining strong working relationships across these groups will be essential to keeping projects on track.
Budget and resource management form a core part of the role. The Project Manager will own project budgets, manage resource allocation, and report regularly on spend against plan. They will also manage the capacity pipeline to ensure teams are not overloaded and that trade-offs are made transparently.
Risk management is embedded in every stage of delivery. The Project Manager will identify risks early, document them clearly, and put mitigation strategies in place before issues escalate. They will maintain risk logs, lead risk reviews, and keep senior management informed of any material concerns.
Reporting and communication are continuous activities. The Project Manager will produce clear status reports for senior management, run regular project updates, and facilitate steering meetings. They will communicate progress, risks, and decisions in a way that is easy for both technical and non-technical stakeholders to absorb.
Quality assurance and best practice sit alongside delivery. The Project Manager will ensure projects meet agreed quality standards, follow established project management frameworks, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of how the business runs its project portfolio.
