What Is a Product Quality Assurance & Content Specialist in iGaming?

A Product Quality Assurance & Content Specialist is a hybrid digital professional responsible for testing product functionality, verifying content accuracy, benchmarking competitor experiences, and producing structured insights that help iGaming operators improve their platforms. The role sits at the intersection of QA, content review, market research, and digital analysis — making it one of the most varied and commercially impactful roles in an iGaming product team.

We are working exclusively with a growing iGaming operator to place a Product Quality Assurance & Content Specialist into their remote product team. The successful candidate will be based in the Middle East and will work to CET hours, collaborating with cross-functional teams across product, content, and commercial functions.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong written communication skills, and a genuine interest in digital products and online gaming platforms. Prior iGaming experience is not required for this Product Quality Assurance & Content Specialist position — what matters most is your ability to follow structured testing processes, produce clear and actionable reports, and operate with a high degree of independence.

The Product Quality Assurance & Content Specialist will cover four core areas: product and feature testing, payments benchmarking, content review and translation quality, and competitor research. You will be a key contributor to continuous improvement across the business’s online casino and sportsbook properties.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Feature Testing

  • Test core product features including deposit flows, withdrawal journeys, gameplay mechanics, and user interface behaviour
  • Verify performance across a range of devices and browsers
  • Follow structured test plans provided by the product team
  • Document bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement clearly and accurately
  • Submit findings through structured reporting frameworks that feed into the product roadmap

Payments & Competitor Benchmarking

  • Review payment method availability, processing speeds, user communication, and limits
  • Compare the overall UX quality of payment journeys across different operators
  • Produce structured benchmarking reports with clear, actionable insights

Translations & Content Quality

  • Review and proofread translated content for accuracy, tone, and brand alignment
  • Cover website copy, promotional content, and customer-facing communications
  • Ensure all content is market-appropriate, clear, and error-free before going live
  • Support content creation in line with brand guidelines

Competitor Research & Website Improvements

  • Monitor competitor brands for changes in promotions, UX design, feature releases, and content strategy
  • Identify trends and improvement opportunities relevant to the business
  • Produce evidence-based, commercially relevant suggestions for website and customer journey improvements

Telegram Community Analysis

  • Identify and monitor leading Telegram channels across target markets in the Middle East
  • Evaluate messaging style, tone, posting frequency, and audience engagement strategies
  • Share findings to support the business’s own community and communications strategy

Requirements

The right candidate for this Product Quality Assurance & Content Specialist role will bring strong attention to detail, a methodical and analytical mindset, and excellent written communication skills in English.

You should be comfortable using and testing websites and digital products, and capable of producing clear, structured reports without requiring significant direction.

You must be available during CET working hours and be comfortable operating within an iGaming/Gambling environment.

Preferred but Not Essential

  • Experience in QA, digital product testing, or content moderation is a strong advantage, as is any background in competitor analysis, market research, or digital benchmarking.
