About the Role

Our client, a leading iGaming platform provider serving operators across multiple regulated markets, is hiring a Product Manager Payments to take full ownership of the payment’s product domain. This is a senior, hands-on Product Manager role covering the end-to-end payments stack, from internal payment platform development through to PSP integrations, checkout optimisation, and recurring billing systems. The Product Manager Payments will be a key voice within the product function and will work directly with engineering, compliance, account management, and commercial stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in conversion, deposit success rates, and operator coverage across regulated jurisdictions.

This Product Manager Payments position is open to candidates based remotely anywhere in the EU, or in Gibraltar or Malta on a hybrid basis. The role is being recruited as an urgent priority to maintain delivery momentum across a busy payment’s roadmap. The successful Product Manager Payments will inherit an established payments platform with a clear pipeline of integrations and optimisation work, and will be expected to make an immediate impact on prioritisation, roadmap definition, and cross-team delivery.

This is a role for someone who has built payments products before in iGaming, fintech, or e-commerce, and who is confident operating across the full lifecycle of payments product management, from PSP integration scoping through to A/B testing checkout flows and reporting on payments performance to senior management. The Product Manager Payments will lead by example, mentor more junior product team members where required, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

The Product Manager Payments will take ownership of the product vision for the internal payments platform, defining the strategy and roadmap in collaboration with senior management and shaping how the platform evolves to meet operator and player needs across regulated iGaming markets. Roadmap planning is a core part of the position, and the Product Manager Payments will be responsible for setting product timelines, agreeing on cross-functional targets, and aligning payments initiatives with the wider product and commercial strategy.

Checkout optimisation sits at the heart of this Product Manager Payments role. The successful candidate will lead experimentation and conversion rate improvement work, running structured A/B tests across deposit and withdrawal flows and using data to drive iterative improvements in completion rates, declines, and player friction. This includes working closely with analytics, UX, and engineering to identify opportunities and validate impact.

Coordinating integrations and launches with payment providers is a key operational responsibility. The Product Manager Payments will own the relationship between the platform and external PSPs, gateways, alternative payment methods, and acquirers, scoping integration work, defining acceptance criteria, and managing rollout to operator clients. This includes working with PSPs across multiple regulated jurisdictions and understanding the commercial, technical, and compliance dimensions of each integration.

The Product Manager Payments will continue building the internal payments platform itself, defining new capabilities to support operator growth, regulatory change, and emerging payment trends. This includes feature work across the payments orchestration layer, fraud and risk integrations, reconciliation and reporting, and recurring billing where applicable. Launch planning, stakeholder communication, and post-launch performance tracking are all part of the remit.

Data-driven product management is expected throughout. The Product Manager Payments will implement a structured approach to idea evaluation, opportunity sizing, and feature performance tracking, using payments metrics such as deposit success rates, processing costs, decline reasons, and chargeback ratios to inform prioritisation. Market and competitor analysis is also part of the role, comparing the platform against other iGaming payments solutions and identifying gaps and opportunities.

Cross-functional collaboration is central. The Product Manager Payments will bring together engineering, design, compliance, account management, finance, and commercial teams to deliver outcomes, and will communicate product changes clearly to internal stakeholders and operator clients. Where the team grows, the Product Manager Payments may lead other payments product managers and will be expected to set a high bar for product craft, documentation, and delivery.
