NOC Team Manager – Malta iGaming Job
NOC Team Manager | Malta | Full-Time
Location: Malta
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Hybrid (4 days office / 1 day remote)
Contract: Permanent
Department: Operations
Salary: €55,000 to €60,000 per annum
About the Role
Our client is an online casino operator running a fast-paced, high-scale, 24/7 production environment, and they are hiring an experienced NOC Team Manager in Malta to lead their Network Operations Centre (NOC) team. This is a key leadership role for someone who knows how to manage production incidents, lead technical teams under pressure and build strong operational processes across globally distributed teams.
In this NOC Team Manager role, you will own the day-to-day management of the NOC operation, ensure smooth 24/7 monitoring and escalation, improve alerting and incident workflows, and work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Product, Support, Payments, Risk and the wider business. You will be the person who connects technology, operations and business impact, making sure issues are detected early, escalated correctly, communicated clearly and followed through to resolution.
Based in Malta on a hybrid schedule, the NOC Team Manager sits at the centre of production operations, leading a growing offshore team and setting the standard for how incidents are handled from detection through to post-incident review. It is a rare chance to take ownership of a critical global operation and shape how a high-scale online platform stays stable and performant. The role suits someone with a strong technical orientation who stays calm under pressure and can bring structure to a 24/7 environment without slowing it down.
Key Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day management of the NOC operation, ensuring smooth 24/7 monitoring, alerting and escalation across the production environment, so that the platform is watched continuously and issues never sit unnoticed.
Lead the NOC team through critical production incidents, coordinating the response, keeping communication clear across stakeholders, and seeing each incident through to resolution rather than handing it off.
Improve alerting and incident workflows, refining monitoring, dashboards, logs and escalation processes so that issues are detected early, routed to the right people and handled consistently every time.
Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Product, Support, Payments, Risk and business teams, acting as the connection point between technology, operations and business impact, and translating technical events into their operational and commercial consequences.
Build and maintain strong operational processes across globally distributed teams, including offshore delivery centres, so that standards hold up regardless of time zone or location.
Establish and uphold incident management best practice, including SLAs, SLOs, root-cause analysis (RCA), postmortems and runbooks, turning each incident into a documented improvement rather than a one-off firefight.
Develop the NOC team over time, supporting a growing offshore team and steadily raising the standard of production support and monitoring.
What We’re Looking For
This NOC Team Manager role suits an experienced technical operations leader who is comfortable leading distributed teams in a high-scale, 24/7 environment.

- Previous experience managing a NOC, Technical Support, Production Support, Incident Management or similar technical operations team
- Experience working with high-scale production systems and 24/7 environments
- Strong understanding of monitoring, alerts, dashboards, logs, incident flows and escalation processes

- Strong technical orientation, with the ability to understand complex systems, APIs, infrastructure, integrations and user-facing platforms
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with distributed teams, especially offshore teams
Strong ownership, calm execution under pressure and the ability to lead through critical incidents - A high level of written and spoken English
Advantageous
- Experience from iGaming, online casino, sports betting, gaming, fintech, payments, adtech, marketing technology or other high-traffic online businesses
- Experience working with teams in India or other global delivery centres
- Familiarity with SLAs, SLOs, RCA, postmortems, runbooks and incident management best practice
