Affiliate Manager – Gibraltar iGaming Job
Affiliate Manager | Gibraltar | On-site
Location: Gibraltar
Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum
Working Pattern: On-site
Contract: Full-Time Permanent
Reports To: Head of Affiliate Networks
About The Role
Our client is a specialist affiliate management brand seeking a highly motivated Affiliate Manager to join their expanding team in Gibraltar. As an Affiliate Manager, you will play a critical role in managing client relationships, building strong partnerships with affiliate networks and vendors, and delivering exceptional affiliate program performance for the agency’s portfolio of clients across UKGC and Rest of World (ROW) markets.
This is a client-facing role where you will take ownership of multiple affiliate program accounts. You will liaise directly with clients to understand their commercial objectives, coordinate with external affiliate networks and vendors to execute their affiliate programs, and provide regular performance reporting and strategic guidance. The Affiliate Manager role offers genuine responsibility for client success, a clear commercial impact on agency revenue and retention, and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships as the agency scales.
If you have a track record of managing client relationships, understand the commercial drivers of iGaming affiliate programs, and thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-intensive environment, we’d like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilties
As an Affiliate Manager, your day-to-day will include managing multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring that each client’s affiliate program is optimised for their commercial goals. You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their business needs, discussing strategic priorities, and translating those into actionable affiliate program recommendations.
You will coordinate directly with external affiliate networks, technology vendors, and marketing partners on behalf of your clients. This includes negotiating terms, onboarding new partners, troubleshooting technical or operational issues, and ensuring vendor relationships remain strong and productive.
You will provide regular reporting and analysis to clients, tracking affiliate program performance against their KPIs including traffic quality, conversion rates, revenue contribution, and return on investment. You will interpret data and present insights in a format that demonstrates value to the client and informs their strategic decisions.
You will identify upselling and optimisation opportunities within your client portfolio, working to expand programs, introduce additional revenue streams, or enhance affiliate strategies. Your recommendations will be grounded in data and informed by best practice across UKGC and ROW regulated markets.
You will stay up-to-date with industry regulations, compliance guidelines, and best practices across UKGC and ROW markets, ensuring that all client affiliate programs remain fully compliant. You will proactively communicate regulatory changes to clients and implement necessary program adjustments.
You will maintain strong communication with internal teams including account management, finance, and operations to ensure smooth delivery and billing. You will escalate issues promptly and work collaboratively to resolve client concerns and maintain satisfaction.
Finally, you will represent the agency professionally with clients and vendors at all times, building the agency’s reputation for expertise, responsiveness, and commercial success.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What compliance experience is essential for this Affiliate Manager role?
A: You must have a working knowledge of UKGC regulations and affiliate compliance requirements, or equivalent experience in ROW regulated markets. As an agency-side role, you’ll need to understand compliance enough to advise clients and ensure their programs remain compliant, but you won’t be implementing compliance alone. You’ll work closely with clients and in-house compliance expertise.
Q: What does “Rest of World” (ROW) markets experience mean?
A: ROW refers to regulated iGaming markets outside the UK, including Europe (Malta, Cyprus, Spain, Italy, etc.), and other regulated jurisdictions. Experience in any of these markets is highly valuable, as it demonstrates exposure to different regulatory frameworks and commercial models you’ll need to advise clients on.
Q: What is the typical client portfolio size?
A: That depends on the agency’s workload and your experience level. You may manage anywhere from 4-8 clients depending on program complexity. The goal is for you to have enough time to do right by each client without being overstretched.
Q: Will I be expected to source new affiliate partners myself?
A: Your primary focus is managing existing client relationships and vendor partnerships. You may support partner sourcing for clients in some cases, but the bulk of your role is optimizing existing programs and managing client accounts effectively.
Q: What tools and systems would I use in this Affiliate Manager position?
A: You will work with affiliate tracking platforms (e.g. Adjust, Impact, Refersion), performance analytics tools, CRM systems, and standard business software for client reporting and communication. You may also use client billing and invoicing systems. Familiarity with at least one tracking or analytics platform is helpful, but training will be provided if needed.
