Content Specialist – Remote iGaming Job
Training Content Specialist | Remote
Location: Remote, with preference for Gibraltar, Malta, or Southern Spain
Salary: EUR 40,000 to EUR 50,000, depending on experience
Working Pattern: Remote-first, with occasional team meet-ups every one to three months
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports To: Training Team Lead
About the Role
Our client, a fast-growing iGaming B2B solutions provider built around a market-leading Player Account Management (PAM) platform, is hiring a Training Content Specialist to help scale internal and client-facing documentation from the ground up.
This Training Content Specialist role sits within the Training function and exists because the business needs a second writer to build out a complete library of user guides, how-to documentation, and training videos. The PAM platform is large, feature-rich, and constantly evolving, and the current documentation set is thin. The incoming Training Content Specialist will be instrumental in closing that gap.
Success in this Training Content Specialist position looks like a clear, accurate, well-structured knowledge base that operators and internal teams can rely on. The person filling this role will work alongside an existing content writer and a small training team, with clear ownership of a defined set of modules. This is not a stepping-stone into director-level work. It is a craft-oriented role for someone who genuinely enjoys explaining complex iGaming software simply, in writing, without the pressure of daily client training delivery.
The role is remote-first, with a preference for candidates already based in Gibraltar, Malta, or Southern Spain so that occasional in-person team sessions remain viable every one to three months.
Key Responsibilities
The Training Content Specialist will take ownership of writing, maintaining, and updating the platform’s user guides, how-to articles, and supporting training assets. This includes translating the PAM platform’s features and functionality into clear, well-structured documentation that a non-technical reader can follow without prior exposure to the product.
A second core responsibility is building and producing training videos and online learning content. The platform for video production is still being selected, so the incoming Training Content Specialist will have input into tooling choices and ways of working. Experience with e-learning authoring tools, screen capture software, or video editing suites is a clear asset for this Training Content Specialist role.
Testing the platform to validate that features behave as documented is part of the job. The Training Content Specialist will spot gaps, raise issues internally, and refine content when the product evolves. Attendance at internal product demos and cross-team syncs keeps the documentation accurate and current.
The Training Content Specialist will also act as a backup Trainer during peak periods, running internal sessions when the client-facing training team is stretched. This is secondary to the writing and content creation focus, but it does require confidence presenting to a live audience when called upon.
Working closely with product, customer success, and compliance colleagues to extract accurate source information is part of the day-to-day. Strong stakeholder management, a methodical approach to knowledge capture, and the ability to manage several content streams at once are critical to success in this Training Content Specialist role.
What We’re Looking For
We are open to candidates from iGaming, customer service, technical writing, or e-learning backgrounds, provided they can demonstrate strong written communication and a structured approach to documentation.
Essential
- Previous experience writing how-to documents, user guides, or technical documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Confident explaining complex concepts simply in writing
- Methodical, self-directed, and well-organised with strong project management habits
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Inquisitive mindset and willingness to test the product thoroughly
- MS Office proficiency
Advantageous
- Background in iGaming, online casino, sports betting, or regulated gaming markets
- Experience creating online training material including videos and e-learning modules
- Familiarity with Confluence and Jira
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools or video production software
- A second language, particularly Portuguese or Spanish, for Latam-facing content
- Customer service or training background within the gaming sector
What’s on Offer
The Training Content Specialist role offers a competitive salary between EUR 40,000 and EUR 50,000 per annum, dependent on experience. The package includes a comprehensive benefits suite and a clear pathway for professional development within a growing iGaming B2B business.
The role is remote-first, supporting flexible working arrangements that suit candidates with care responsibilities or a preference for a quiet, focused work environment. Occasional team meet-ups are held every one to three months, so reasonable proximity to Gibraltar, Malta, or Southern Spain is preferred but not a blocker.
The working culture is collaborative, light on oversight, and focused on craft and quality. Writers and trainers are trusted to manage their own schedule and output, with clear ownership over the content library they are building.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need iGaming experience to apply for this Training Content Specialist role?
iGaming experience is advantageous but not essential. Strong technical writing or e-learning production experience from another regulated or complex software sector is equally valuable, and our client provides full platform training.
Is this Training Content Specialist role fully remote?
Yes, the role is remote-first. A preference exists for candidates based in Gibraltar, Malta, or Southern Spain so that in-person team sessions every one to three months are practical.
Will I need to deliver live training as well as write content?
Writing and producing content is the primary focus. You may occasionally step in as a backup Trainer during peak internal training periods, but it will not be a daily responsibility.
What tools will I be working with?
You will work across the client’s PAM platform, Confluence or Jira for knowledge management, MS Office, and a video production tool that is yet to be selected. The Training Content Specialist will have input into that tooling decision.
What does progression look like in this Training Content Specialist role?
This is a specialist craft role rather than a management feeder. Progression happens through ownership of broader content domains, leadership over content standards, and influence across the wider Training function.
