About the Role

Our client, a globally recognised iGaming and emerging technology events and media group, is looking for a Paid Media Specialist to manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across two of their flagship event brands. This is a Serbia-based position within a company that operates some of the largest summits in the iGaming, blockchain, AI, and affiliate marketing sectors, attracting tens of thousands of delegates worldwide.

The Paid Media Specialist will be responsible for driving event registrations, brand awareness, and audience engagement through data-driven campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, X (Twitter), and other relevant platforms. You will work across both B2B event properties, developing strategies that align with event timelines and commercial objectives. This is a hands-on role that requires a strategic digital marketer who is equally comfortable building campaigns from scratch and optimising performance in real time.

For candidates relocating to Serbia, the company provides a comprehensive relocation package including a one-way flight, shared company accommodation for the first two months, and airport transfer. Key Responsibilities

The Paid Media Specialist will develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), X, and other relevant platforms for both event brands. You will create campaign structures aligned with event timelines, targeting early-bird registrations, speaker announcements, and last-minute conversion windows. Managing monthly and event-specific budgets efficiently while ensuring optimal return on investment across both brands is central to the role.

Audience targeting and segmentation is a major part of this Paid Media Specialist position. You will build and refine audience segments for tech innovators, fintech and blockchain professionals, AI enthusiasts, affiliate marketers, iGaming professionals, and performance marketers. This includes developing lookalike audiences, custom segments based on past attendee data and industry behaviours, and implementing account-based marketing tactics for high-value enterprise targets.

Day-to-day, you will monitor campaign performance, making real-time optimisations to improve click-through rates, conversion rates, and cost-per-acquisition. A/B testing on ad creative, copy, landing pages, and audience segments is expected as standard. You will provide weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations to stakeholders, and collaborate closely with the creative team to develop compelling ad assets that resonate with target audiences across the tech, blockchain, and affiliate marketing sectors.

The Paid Media Specialist will also work with web developers to optimise landing pages for conversion, implement tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and conversion tracking across all campaigns, and conduct user behaviour analysis to improve the registration experience. Budget forecasting, spend allocation across channels, and identifying opportunities to scale successful campaigns while maintaining efficiency are all part of the remit.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal Paid Media Specialist for this Serbia-based position will bring:

Essential

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns, preferably in B2B/B2C events, SaaS, or technology sectors
  • Proven track record of driving event registrations or lead generation through paid channels
  • Experience managing monthly advertising budgets of $100K+ across multiple platforms
  • Expert-level proficiency in Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn Campaign Manager for B2B targeting
  • Strong experience with Meta Ads Manager (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Proficiency with tracking and analytics tools including Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and attribution modelling
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable campaign improvements
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and data analysis
