The Role
Based in our Gibraltar office, the Player Due Diligence Team Leader is responsible for supporting the Player Due Diligence Manager in the day-to-day running of the team. This includes case allocation, quality control, coaching analysts, and acting as a first point of contact for operational queries.
The role is focused on ensuring the team meets internal and external AML requirements, delivers accurate reviews, and escalates concerns appropriately.
We’re looking for someone with strong case-handling experience, good judgment, and a willingness to take ownership of the team’s daily output. The Team Leader will work closely with the Manager and MLRO to ensure AML processes are being followed and that the team is supported in their development.
The role is broken down into the following areas:
Team Support and Oversight
- Day-to-day oversight of workload across the Player Due Diligence Team
- Initial QA checks of completed cases to ensure quality and consistency
- Escalating case issues or risk concerns to the Manager or MLRO, where needed
- Supporting the Manager in delivering Personal Development Plans for the team
- Acting as a first point of contact for Specialist queries and decisions
Process and Compliance Support
- Ensuring Specialists follow internal AML procedures and meet case SLA’s#
- Spotting common issues or blockers in the due diligence process and flagging to the Manager
- Supporting with updates to documentation and internal training content
Casework and Reporting
- Completing AML reviews during peak times or where cover is required
- Monitoring queue status and ensuring case priorities are clear
- Providing input into regular reporting and team performance updates
People and Communication
- Helping with the onboarding and training of new Specialists
- Maintaining close working relationships with Compliance, Player Experience, and Player Protection
Role Specifics
Hours: 09:00 – 18:00
Days: Any 5 days from 7, scheduled in line with team needs.
Flexibility: Some shift flexibility may be required to support peak periods or cover
