System Engineer

Your Mission

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the operation of a distributed online gambling system hosted at AWS. The role includes maintaining and improving continuous deployment processes, monitoring, and alerting solutions. This position requires an experienced professional with deep expertise in Linux, AWS, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and optimize the distributed online gambling system in AWS.
• Manage and improve Continuous Deployment processes for reliability and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system stability.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based infrastructure and scripting tools.
• Manage AWS multi-account structures, SSO, EC2 instances, IAM policies, S3 storage, CloudFormation, Amplify, CloudFront, and networking security groups.
• Ensure proper domains and certificate management for secure operations.
• Utilize Docker for containerized application deployment and management.
• Implement and oversee New Relic monitoring tools for system performance tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and operation.
• Maintain technical documentation and specifications for infrastructure setup and system changes.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices in security and performance optimization.

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of Linux administration experience, including scripting and automation.
• Minimum 2 years of AWS experience, including multi-account structures, EC2, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, CloudFront, Amplify, and security groups.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools such as New Relic.
• Experience with Docker for containerized environments.
• Hands-on experience in domains and certificate management.

Soft Skills:

• Strong curiosity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• High level of self-responsibility and initiative.
• Excellent communication skills, including fluent English and proficiency with messaging tools (e.g., Teams).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, balancing technical and soft skills to contribute to team success.
• Strong time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure while still meeting deadlines.
