The Role
The Chief Executive Assistant (CEA) is a strategic enabler, ensuring that the Founder’s time, focus, and efforts are directed where they are most needed. This role requires business acumen, project management skills, and the ability to anticipate challenges and opportunities. You are also a proactive problem-solver, a gatekeeper, a project driver and a communication bridge, with the ability to represent the Founder when and where required. Travel is an extensive part of the role, attending key industry events, meetings, and business ventures worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily execution to ensure key initiatives progress. Manage priorities, schedules, and action points to stay on track. Support decision-making with data, insights, and trends while coordinating across SiGMA’s diverse business units.
- Manage the Founder’s schedule and commitments for efficient time use. Attend meetings, summarize takeaways, and ensure follow-ups. Draft communications, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with department heads, investors, and partners to ensure alignment. Oversee key initiatives, track execution, and report progress. Support the Founder in ventures, investments, and strategic partnerships.
- Proactively resolve challenges and risks. Handle urgent matters in leadership’s absence and maintain discretion when managing sensitive situations.
- Ensure leadership stays aligned with organizational priorities. Promote company culture, values, and high performance. Act as a trusted advisor while handling sensitive information with integrity.
- Manage the Founder’s public image and communication strategy. Coordinate events and public appearances. Build and maintain relationships with investors, stakeholders, partners, and industry leaders. Handle VIP guest relations and track networking efforts, with follow-ups and strategic engagements.
What You Bring to the Table
- 5+ years in a Chief of Staff or Business Operations role.
- Experience in fast-scaling startups, venture capital, events, or gaming/tech industries is preferred.
- Comfortable working alongside high-profile executives, investors, and decision-makers.
